Greetings Everyone!
Welcome to my website! I've put this together to help show my friends, family, and supporters exactly what I will be up to this summer. For those of you that don't know, I've decided to try to hike the spectacular Pacific Crest Trail for a cause that is very important to me. The PCT is long and winding trail that begins on the Mexican border and winds it's way through the desert and mountains of California, Oregon and Washington and finishes at the Canadian border. The hike, if successful, will take around 5 months to complete. By undertaking this adventure, I hope to raise awareness and funds for the good folks at the Deer Park Monastery, who have had a hugely positive affect on my life and countless others. I hope that a few of you will find this a worthy cause to donate to. If you would like to do so, please click here. If not, I appreciate your moral support nonetheless. Above, you can find sections of the site to learn in more detail about me, the Pacific Crest Trail, and the Deer Park Monastery. There is also there is a 'Say Hello' section where visitors can leave comments for me - I love hearing from you. I will do my best to check in periodically and leave comments in this section to let everyone know of my progress. Thank you for taking the time to explore my journey, and Happy Trails!
Sincerely,
Tony Mondry
P.S. - The tune you're hearing are from my new friend Pete Droge. He's been one of my favorite artists for over 20 years and I've derived a lot of pleasure and satisfaction listening to his music over the years. I was flattered that he personally gave me the thumbs up to use his sweet tune. Thanks, Pete - see ya in Washington! (check out Pete's music at www.droge.com)
